Wake Tech is a biggest community college in North Carolina. It serves more than 74,000 adults annually with 6 campuses, 3 training centers, multiple community sites and a comprehensive array of online learning options. This college is accredited and offers over 240 associate’s degrees, certificates and diplomas which prepare students for university transfer or immediate employment. This college offers non-credit continuing education programs including customized workforce training, public safety officer training, small business support, basic skills courses like English as a Second Language and high school equivalency preparation, and the other courses for personal enrichment. In addition, this college also serves high school students at the Wake Early College of Health and Sciences, North Wake College and Career Academy in partnership with Wake County Public Schools and the Vernon Malone College and Career Academy.
This college also has WebAdvisor Wake Tech. Webadvisor is a tool which is comprehensive web-based that enables you to access a lot of services without having to come to campus. The registration web through WebAdvisor gives you nice features that permit you to view your account summary and detail, and pay online; search for classes by time, location, day and instructor; check course availability in real time; review course descriptions; request a change in your address or phone number; check your grades; and check your financial aid status. To use WebAdvisor, you need to do Wake Tech WebAdvisor login. To do that, you need to activate your my.waketech.edu account, you have to go to www.waketech.edu and then the homepage will come up. Click on “My Waketech” in the upper right corner. If the window comes up, click “Activate my Account” on the top left side of the page. Then, you will be provided with a list of information that you have to own in order to proceed. If you are missing any of those items, follow the instructions which are provided to retrieve them. When you are ready, click “Activate Account” in the bottom right corner. Then, read the instructions provided and insert the requested information. Then, click Submit button when you finish. Now, your account is activated.
On My WebAdvisor Wake Tech , you can register for classes. How to do that? First, all students accounts need to be activated so that they can log in to WebAdvisor. To activate that, follow the instructions that we have described above. Then, log in to WebAdvisor by typing the web address webadvisor.waketech.edu into the address box of your internet browser. Then, click Log in. In the User ID box, you have to type your user ID and in the password box, you have to type the password provided during account activation process at my.waketech.edu. Then, click OK. If you forgot your User ID or password, you can go to my.waketech.edu to retrieve your User ID or reset your password. Now, click on Current Students if you want to do more than search for sections. You may also want to use waitlisting. If yes, you can login first to WebAdvisor. Then, if a class section that you want to enroll is full, select WL under Action to place yourself on a waitlist for the class. If a seat is available you will be registered automatically if there are no conflicts with other classes on your schedule. You have to check your class schedule because you will need to drop any classes you no longer want.
