Webadvisor OCC is the name of the system owned by Onondaga Community College or OCC. This kind of WebAdvisor provides every student, every faculty, and every staff of Onondaga Community College with the secure access to he common transactions and administrative information using the web. By using this system, you can do some things such as registering for classes, checking your schedule, checking your Financial Aid, viewing your grades, and many more.
Just like any other WebAdvisor of the other colleges, you do not have to be on the campus to use WebAdvisor. It means that you can use this WebAdvisor anywhere as long as there is the Internet connection.
Apparently, you must log into OCC WebAdvisor first with your username and password to access some things mentioned in the first paragraph. However, you are allowed to search for classes without logging in. Once again, you will not be required to log in to search for classes but most other options will require you to log in.
Then, how to log into OCC WebAdvisor? For those who do not know your username, the first thing you have to do is to click the link written “What’s My User Name?” that you can find on the Student Menu or on the Main Menu. For those who do not know the password, then, you have to click the “What’s My Password?” link which is located in the same menu. Once you got the username and the password, then it is time for you to log in. To log in, first, enter your username. for your information, your OCC WebAdvisor username is the same as the username you use to sign into the College Network.
Please make sure to use all the lower case letters. Second, enter your password. If you get the username from the college, then the initial password must be your college ID number which is seven digits and includes the leading zero. As it is the temporary password, you may want to change it at any time through the Central Authentication Service. For those who consider to get the new one, you have to know that the password must be at least 8 characters and must contain one lowercase letter, one upper case letter, and one number. in addition, the password must be unique and should not contain any portion of your name. Please avoid using some special characters such as double quotes, less than, at sign, ampersand, plus sign, and so on.
